I hate writing long form content almost as much as I hate writing introductory and “about me” posts, but here we are. I’ve committed myself to yet another blog (shoutout to anyone who remembers my first, short-lived endeavor.) I’ve set this site up to have several categories and subsections with the hopes of covering a wide variety of topics here.
Here are some quick explanations on what I’m planning for each category:
Every once in a while I’m inspired and motivated to shoot some more complicated photos and sets. In this category, I’ll be sharing photo project retrospectives, abstracts, short summaries of upcoming plans, discussions around the common themes I use and how I approach them, and keeping a small gallery of favorites shots.
2020 was a wild year for me in J-Fashion. I took a “break” from Lolita fashion in 2019; I wore 3 coordinates throughout that entire year (September, October, and December 2019) and didn’t pay attention to anything in the community.
In early 2020, I was approached to help out with the J-Fashion portion of Fanime but, well… Yeah. I was already starting to get back into wearing the fashion, but the lockdown accelerated this. Now I’m on a team that organizes J-Fashion events and too much time to spend making up for lost time.
I’ll be writing about a variety of topics in this category, including coordinate breakdowns, thoughts, tips, wardrobe details, and more.
My first website started out as a simple lifestyle blog. Unfortunately, I lost interest with this format incredibly quickly and I gave up on it. This time around, however, I do, want to share things outside of J-Fashion and my photo projects. Makeup and skincare, home decor, fashion, et cetera. These topics and more will all live under this coverall section.
Thoughts will be thoughts. Don’t expect too much in this category, but every once in a while I may be compelled to share my hot takes and personal or professional opinions on certain things.
That’s it for now! Thanks for checking my site out. Check back soon for more posts.
