This is the post where my baby-lita hubris comes home to roost. When I started acquiring main pieces I stuck almost exclusively with OPs. No need for blouses, right? Maybe one or two just in case for the few JSKs I had. That would surely hold me over as I built out my wardrobe. …WELL… it didn’t. Unfortunately I’m still currently dealing with this incredibly inconvenient oversight and slowly building up my blouse collection. I’ve picked up a few great pieces over the last couple of years (very special shoutouts to Sheglit‘s incredibly quality, and to Miho Matsuda‘s fun yet practical designs) but I’m still trapped in a never-ending hunt for the perfect “everything” blouse. Nothing has hit quite right yet, and this is my own entirely unnecessary self-made tragedy… Anyway, here are my blouses!

Epilogue: Sock Hell
Sock Hell. Another common newbie mistake I often hear about is falling into the trap of not buying enough legwear, or not diversifying legwear bonds. When I first started, I had a few solid pieces that worked with anything, albeit they were a bit boring. Fortunately, in early 2020 I went a little bit overboard and purchased 8 new pairs.
